My 2D animation Ideas- Were I got the ideas from

 Jumping Over Objects (Mario Game)

 I got the idea of the jumping object from the game Mario when it very first started.  The game is animated and looks and is really good. If I was to choose this for my final  idea I would use similar stuff for example the boxes to make the animated character big and create other animated characters to make him die.

Fruit (Ooglies)

I got the idea of my grapes and evil apple looking like they are more real by the show Ooglies, I thought that If I was to do this for my final idea then I would change what the fruit do and make it more entertaining, with the grapes in the pool and the cherry comes and saves them





Snowball Fight (the online game)

I got this idea from the 2D game Snowball Fight. Its a really good game were you have to shoot people and the aim of the game is not let them hit you. If I was to do this for my final 2D animation I would not make it as a game but as 2 people cartoon throwing snowballs at each other and showing them how to build really good snowballs going over the top with it. 

Roller-coaster (roller-coaster game)

I got the idea of the roller-coaster effect from the game Roller-coaster which is an online game. If I was to do this for my final idea I wouldnt make it as a game I would do it as an acual roller-coaster with a big loop and make something happen like someone breaks part of the roller- coaster off and the carriage falls into the sea or something.

Evaluation Animation Idea:

I got the idea from the Guinness advert, were the go from human all the way back in time to a newt. If I was to do this for my final 2D animation I would have to work hard and get the right background and lighting and also do each individual animal which can move and crawl.

This is my ideas for my 2D animation, I did it on Prezi because it's easier to present and easier to look at my ideas. I made my Prezi like a brainstorm with just short notes so I know my base line of my ideas so that I can expand one of hem for my idea.

My Morph Animation

 How we did it 
How we did our animation was firstly we had ago at making morphs out of plasticine, it took us a while because I have never used plasticine before but once I got the hang of it my morph came out okay. This is a model of my morph.

After we did the morph we then had to do a screen play on paper to give us an idea of what we wanted our morphs doing. we had to do a visual picture and the a description of the visual picture and then choose which sound we was going to put into each shot. I thought the audio bit was quiet hard because of the fact that you didn't know what the screen shot was actually going to look like so it was difficult to do.

Once we completed the sheet we then had to get the video camera out and it up, we had to put the camera on a tripod and wire it up to the computer which was pretty tricky to do. Then we got a white piece of A3 paper and put it as the background. I then got up I-stop-motion program and got started moving mine and Nicole's morphs to look like they are walking, to meet each other.

We then had to make the scene for the cafe, we did this by doing a background to make it more life like, instead of just having a white background we then got 2 tapes and a pencil sharpener and a pen pot and made 2 chairs so that they could sit on them, we then had 2 idea, to either have them having a fight or let them get married, but we thought that it would be better and more exciting if we had them fighting. After we did all the stop motion animation we then put sound in off youtube and off i movie were we moved the animation into to make it easier to put sound onto it.

History on the Morph

Morph and Chas the play-do stop motion characters that got up to mischief created by Aardman Animations, the company behind Wallace and Gromit, Morph has appeared regularly in nine different TV shows over the 35 years. These little chaps have been on sMart and had a brief appearance on ashes to ashes.


Evaluation
From doing this piece of work I have learnt how to use stop motion animation, using plasticine to create a 1 minute piece, which I think is rather good considering it is my first time doing this type of media. I have also learnt how to use the I-stop-motion program and learnt new buttons, and make things look more realist which I couldn't do before.

My Stop Motion Animation

I made this video by firstly, thinking of an idea of what to do, me and Nicole came up with a space ship crashing into a castle, once we got the idea we then had to start drawing parts of it, we both slip the parts up, I did the castle and the broken bricks and the clouds and the background, and Nicole did the space ship and the alien. Once we finished drawing we started colouring the pictures in, it took a long time but eventually we started to get the pieces together. With the pieces though we had to cut the arms and the legs off the alien so that we could make it look like it was walking.

Then after we went on I-motion program and we had to set up the film camera and put it on a stand, once we set it up we did a couple of practice’s to get use to the program once we eventually did we started to make our stop motion sequence together. This was tricky because the camera showed the image upside down so we had to work upside down.

We had to move the pictures ever so slightly because if we didn’t move them slightly then the sequence of the alien would be really jumpy, it was also hard because we had to move everything on the page every time we did a shot, like the clouds and the flames, also we had to make the timing right do the explosion.

When we finished the sequence of doing the alien motion we then put the sequence in iMovie, and added different sounds which we thought was appropriate to the sequence, we put sounds over different sounds and we tried making the alien speak, by using an alien voice sound which worked well.
